Aikolon pursues international growth with the new state-of-the-art coating line for transparent, high-performance plastics. Aikon® sales team have received new experts to support growth - Lari Hahtonen, Tomas Djupsund and Eetu Karjalainen have started new positions to fulfill your vision of the future.
Lari Hahtonen has started as Export and Relations Director. He is responsible for taking care of international relations and building valuable relationships with new and existing customers. Lari has a long experience in the plastics field as he has worked in the industry for 20 years gaining international experience. In his previous role as Purchasing Director, he was responsible for the procurement of plastic materials and supplier relations. In addition, Lari has served as the president of the European Plastics Distributors Association – EPDA. During this time he followed closely the development and future of the industry.
Tomas Djupsund has started as the Key Account Manager of Vehicle and Marine Industries. He is helping customers to design and fabricate even more lightweight and cost-effective plastic components which aim to improve energy efficiency. Before starting the new position, Tomas worked as the Area Sales Manager and Team Leader of domestic sales. Tomas serves customers with plastic matters in English, Finnish, and Swedish.
“I have started the new role with great excitement. It is very interesting to work with a large customer portfolio. Especially when it comes to customers that have a large product portfolio.”, describes Tomas Djupsund.
Eetu Karjalainen has started a new position as an international Account Manager. Before his new position, Eetu worked successfully with domestic and international customers as a Sales Coordinator. Despite his young age, Eetu has gained quickly plastics expertise, and in cooperation with area sales, has served major customers.
“I’m very excited about this opportunity and looking forward to moving into international sales. It feels especially good to be able to cooperate with experienced sales professionals and deepen my knowledge in the plastics field.”, tells Eetu Karjalainen.
