Aikon is part of Aikolon Ltd (further Aikolon) and, therefore, follows the privacy policy of Aikolon. Aikolon is committed to protecting your data.
Aikolon protects the privacy of data subjects and complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679) of the European Union in all the processing of personal data. Also, Aikolon complies with other applicable legislation and good data processing practices.

4. The purpose of the register
Customer relationship management
Personal data is primary collected to the customer register for delivering and producing those Aikolon services which the person has subscribed to or ordered, or which the person has registered for as a user. The personal data is processed for the management and analysis of relationship with the customer, or some other appropriate connection, in addition with the production of services, business development and planning, as well as market research and customer communication.
Marketing
Personal data is also collected for marketing purposes, provided that the person in question has disclosed their information. Marketing purposes include newsletters and press releases, customer feedback surveys, as well as collecting other relative customer data. The person has the right to withdraw their consent for the use of their data in marketing purposes at any time.

The register includes information on customer profiling or customer relationship, and information on Aikolon’s services and products. Also, customer feedback and information on the company’s strategy are processed. Other identification and contact information can be transposed to the marketing register to direct marketing purposes also after the customer relationship has come to an end.
6. Regular sources of information
When using the Aikon website and providing access to use data, customer data is stored to the customer register.
The information stored in the register is obtained from visitors using www.aikolon.fi or www.aikon.fi websites and disclosing their information as well as the customer messages sent via web forms, e-mail, telephone, via social media services, contracts, customer meetings and other situations in which the customer discloses their information.
Contact information for companies and other organizations can also be collected from public sources, such as websites, directory services, and other companies.
7. Regular transfer of data
The information is not regularly disclosed to other parties.
8. Transfer of data outside the EU or the EEA
We do not regularly transfer data outside the EU or the EEA. However, in some situations, for example, when our service provider or servers are located outside the EEA, we may also have to transfer the personal data that we have collected to non-EEA countries. If the data is transferred outside the EEA, the transfer is made in accordance with the appropriate transfer mechanism.
9. Keeping the data safe
The register has no manual material. The electronic material is stored and protected in accordance with normal data protection practices for general operations. Access to the electronic material is protected by a username and password. Access to personal data is limited to those who are entitled to it for their work.
10. Right to inspect data
Every person registered in the customer register has the right to check the information about themselves. This is accomplished by asking the registry contact to display their own information. Upon request, the customer must be able to prove their identity. This can be done free of change once a year. Information will be provided in writing upon a request.
11. Right to request correction of data
The registrar of the customer register shall delete, correct or supplement inaccurate, unnecessary, incomplete, or outdated information for processing on its own initiative or at the request of the person. The correction of information must be requested in writing.
12. Other rights related to the processing of personal data
A member of Aikolon's customer register has the right to prohibit the data controller from processing information about him or her for direct marketing, marketing and opinion polls and distance selling. The request must be made in writing to the controller.
