    Aikon® PMMA AR 3013/3023

    Hard coated extruded acrylic sheet has a superior abrasion resistance combined with naturally good UV-radiation resistance. PMMA sheets are coated with protective Momentive SilFORT PHC XH100P.

    Aikon® PMMA AR  3013/3023

    Aikon® PMMA AR 3013 and AR 3023 are clear hard coated extruded acrylic sheets. PMMA is a harder material than, for example, polycarbonate, therefore giving the material very good resistance against scratches, almost equal to hardened glass. By its nature, acrylic sheet is very resistant to UV radiation, which extends the service life in outdoor applications. PMMA material also shows a very high light transmission value and optical quality without any distortions.

    Acrylic, combined with Momentive SilFORT PHC XH100P hard coating gives the plastic sheet very good chemical resistance. AR 3013 is hard coated from one side and AR 3023 is hard coated from both sides of the sheet. The PMMA material has:

    • glass-like abrasion resistance
    • superior UV-resistance
    • high light transmission value (92%)
    • good chemical resistance
    • good impact strength

    Aikon® PMMA AR 4013/4023

    Aikon® PMMA AR 4013 and AR 4023 are clear hard coated cast acrylic sheets. Acrylic is a harder material than, for example, polycarbonate, therefore giving the material very good resistance against scratches, almost equal to hardened glass.

    By nature, acrylic sheet is very resistant to UV radiation, which translates to an extended lifetime in outdoor applications. PMMA material also shows very high light transmission value and optical quality without any distortions. Acrylic, combined with Momentive SilFORT PHC XH100P hard coating gives the plastic sheet very good chemical resistance. AR 4013 is hard coated from one side and AR 4023 is hard coated from both sides. The PMMA sheet has:

    • glass-like abrasion resistance
    • superior UV-resistance
    • high light transmission value (92%)
    • good chemical resistance
    • good impact resistance
